Sophie Basset

Ballet Teacher, PBT Instructor

Miss Sophie began her dance journey at the age of 2 in Nottingham, training at Morrison’s School of Dance and Gedling Ballet School. Her talent and dedication earned her a scholarship to Tring Park School for the Performing Arts, where she trained intensively for eight years, graduating with a Trinity National Diploma in Dance. During her training, Sophie had the privilege of performing with English National Ballet in productions of *Nutcracker* and *Swan Lake*. A dedicated Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) student, Sophie completed her RAD exams up to Advanced 2, alongside Vocational exams in Modern (ISTD) and Cecchetti Ballet. After graduation, she enjoyed a professional dance career performing with international companies, including Costa Crociere and Sea Cruise UK. Miss Sophie is a certified PBT instructor and is currently undertaking the Certificate in Dance Teaching (CDT) course with the RAD. With her extensive experience and passion for teaching, we are thrilled to have Sophie as a valued member of the MyBallet team.
