Svenja carries an embodied approach to movement and dance in which creativity, curiosity and a positive and encouraging outlook on individual growth and development are kept at heart. Working internationally within choreographic, visual arts and community-based contexts as a dancer, facilitator, researcher and director since 2008, Svenja has a degree in dance pedagogy (Lola Rogge Schule; 2006 – 2009), a BA (hons) in Contemporary Dance, and an MFA in Creative Practice, having studied at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, and Independent Dance (2012 - 2015; 2018 - 2020). She is an associate artist and performer for Undercurrent, an inclusive and intergenerational company based in Ireland, as well as director of Woolwich Dance Space, a community arts organisation with a focus on creative dance and movement. We feel privileged to have her as our events facilitator at MyBallet Community. Keep an eye out for our next event!
